The expansion of the Waldorf Astoria hotels is one of the biggest the luxury hotel branch has seen in a time. The Hilton Group does open hotels all over the world, one of the most interesting definitely is the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, a unique holiday resort in an incredible beach setting. A location that offers sun and warm temperatures all year long.

The Waldorf Astoria brand stands for pure luxury, but is also known for luxury in the city. The first Waldorf Astoria, not part of the Hilton Group at this time, got the number one address in New York City. After Hilton got the brand rights, the expansion in other cities began. Berlin or Chicago – Hilton went on to bring luxury in the cities in the world.

The design is as impressive as the architecture of the building itself. Bright colors and big windows make the experience in every room a little more unique. Even though most of the Classic Rooms offer sea view, the better experience may be a King Deluxe Room with sea view and a huge balcony to enjoy some hours by just watching the lively gulf.

As there is no maximum for anything in the Emirates, the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah does also have several suites. The biggest one got 170 square meters and offers irresistible views.

In the evening or for lunch, guests may enjoy a wide range of different dishes from all over the world. Qasr al Bahar, offering food from all over the world and also local dishes may be the first choice for most guests, but visiting Marjan, a restaurant focused on Middle Eastern cuisine, may be an incredible experience as well. For all lovers of seafood or steaks, the Lexington Grill is the best choice for dinner.

For special events, guests may also enjoy the renowned Peacock Alley of the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, ajar on the Peacock Alley in the original Waldorf Astoria.

Temperature controlled swimming pools

This one is not temperature controlled, but awesome nevertheless. Apart from the 350 meter long private beach, the Spa is also worth a mention. It offers a wide range of treatments for relaxation. If you want to enjoy a more active holiday, you can also take advantage of several special activities including diving, golf, tennis, several water sport activities, sightseeing tours, fishing and much more.

Fair prices at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah

What’s at least as amazing as the facilities is the price. While many luxurious holiday resorts we previewed lately are calling prices starting at 500 Euro (625 US-Dollar) a day, the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khamiah got fair rates starting at 150 Euro (185 US-Dollar) in some periods of the year. In high season, guests may have to pay up to 250 Euro (310 US-Dollar) a night.

Arrangements with breakfast or even half board included are also available for a moderate extra charge. All in all, the value for the money seems to be pretty good at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khamaih. A hotel we’ll definitely check out when visiting the Emirates next time!
