Hotel Preview: The Ritz-Carlton Bali
Nusa Dua is known as one of the most amazing parts of Bali. Not any surprisingly, the Ritz-Carlton hotel chain decided to open a hotel at the Southern tip of Nusa Dua. The Ritz-Carlton Bali offers its guests nothing but large suites, amazing dining experiences and unique beaches. The only thing that may prevent you from instantly booking a room at the amazing resort is the crazy nightly price.
A tropical paradise is easy to find in Indonesia, but Bali is something special anyway. The Ritz-Carlton Bali that opened just a few weeks ago tries to set new standards on the dream island. Views of the ocean or in the lush gardens, private pools and butler service and much more.
The Ritz-Carlton Bali wants to be more than a “usual” Ritz-Carlton property. On Bali, every hotel has to be a little better and the Ritz-Carlton hits the spot in that regard!
Luxury, more luxury, Ritz-Carlton Bali
The unique experience every guest of the Ritz-Carlton will experience starts with the amazing suites and villas at the property. The category on the website is named “Rooms & Suites”, but the Ritz-Carlton Bali does not have a single room.
Guests may choose a suite or a villa, each being large enough for a family. However, only the The Ritz-Carlton Cliff Villa (592 square meters / 6368 square feet) and The Ritz-Carlton Oceanfront Villa (677 square meters / 7290 square feet) are suitable for up to six people.
All other room categories, starting from the lowest room category named The Sawangan Junior Suite (88 square meters / 1070 square feet), got an occupancy of two people.
Every single suite and villa at the resort offers luxurious beds, high-quality furnishing and modern marble bathrooms. There are only few hotels in the world that got rooms that are that luxurious.
Asian dining with views of the ocean
Even though the suites and villas may be an argument that is good enough to instantly book a flight to Bali, there are also some other things that are worth mentioning. One of those are the dining outlets of The Ritz-Carlton Bali.
On the Southern tip of Nusa Dua, guests of the luxury hotel will find six different restaurants and bars that all invite guests for a special dining experience. At “Raku”, Japanese food in tapas style is served at a spot where ocean view is guaranteed. Something a little more special is the local restaurant “Bejana” that is renowned for its Indonesian cuisine. “The Beach Grill” located at the oceanfront has a more international approach.
It’s tough to make a choice where to have dinner as also “Breezes” and “The Ritz-Carlton Lounge & Bar” offer light snacks in the evening that may be accompanied by a great cocktail. Last but not least, “Senses” – the luxury hotels all-day-dining restaurant – also invites resort guests for lunch and dinner!
Unique treatments at the Ritz-Carlton Bali
Holiday with just relaxing in the villa or having a great food is not complete. When staying at a luxurious holiday resort, visitors are usually also looking for interesting activities or Spa treatments. Even though the Spa of the Ritz-Carlton Bali with more than a dozen treatment rooms and other facilities like a jet-stream pool didn’t open yet (it will in August), the temporary Spa Pavilion is a very good subsidiary.
Alongside, guests may also decide to enjoy any of the many activities that are offered by the hotel. These are including watersports, diving and much more. Last but not least, it’s worth a mention that the Ritz-Carlton Bali has a large private beach that may be the main argument for holiday seekers when booking a hotel on Bali.
Limited opening offers may be a bargain
In the teaser, I already mentioned that the price may be a problem when thinking about a luxurious holiday in The Ritz-Carlton Bali. Even though, the Ritz-Carlton Bali is not any cheap, the opening prices are absolutely okay for Bali. The smallest room category is available for 430 US-Dollar (~ 405 Euro) excluding taxes and services. For a limited time, breakfast is included in every basic rate.
Special rates including airport transfer or club access are available for 468 US-Dollar (~440 Euro) respectively 500 US-Dollar (~470 Euro). Not cheap, but fair compared to the rates of other luxury hotels in Bali. If you are looking for a dream vacation, the opening offers of Ritz-Carlton Bali may be the perfect opportunity to just go!
