Fine dining – again. This time, we review our lunch at the Aragosta Bar and Bistro at the Battery Wharf Hotel in Boston that offered an outstanding value in our opinion. While not being very expensive, you are able to choose a three course for a fixed price that comes with a choice of several different dishes for each course. We went for this offer and really enjoyed our time at the Battery Wharf Hotel.
Either à la carte or a three course menu. We decided for the latter at the Battery Wharf Hotel as we haven’t eaten anything since breakfast. To be quite honest: This was the perfect choice! The menu for lunch at the Battery Wharf Hotel comes with a choice of several different dishes.
Most of them are included in the actual charge for the whole menu, while some come with an extra charge. This goes for example for the lobster soup or special ingredients for the burger like bacon. However, we decided for a nice mix of included and extra charge items at our lunch at the Battery Wharf Hotel.
Starting with soup and salad
For the starter, Sabrina went for the lobster soup, while I decided to have a Ceasar Salad.
Before the food was served, we got some bread with olive oil and balsamic – a very nice little treat by the Aragosta Bistro at the Battery Wharf Hotel. A few minutes later, the first courses were served.
Sabrina was very happy about her lobster soup as it had quite the perfect taste.
I also liked my Caesar Salad, but it was not so special that it is worth writing any praise about. Anyway, the starter left us wanting more!
Indulging with salmon and a beef burger
Lunch at the Aragosta Bar and Bistro is served very quickly – perfect for a business meeting. So right after the starter, the main dishes were served.
Sabrina had the salmon in a creamy sauce, while I went for the beef burger that came with garlic fries and a little salad. The salmon was very satisfying as Sabrina already told me while eating. I tried as well and had the same impression. My burger at the same time had a very good taste as well.
However, it was way too much, so I was not able to eat it completely. I have to admit that the beef was very good and the fries had a unique, but very good taste as well. All in all, the main dishes at the Battery Wharf Hotel were very good!
Selection of sweet treats
As we wanted to really indulge in the last hours of our stay at the Battery Wharf Hotel, we went for a special selection of different desert items at the Aragosta Bar and Bistro. The waiter, who made a great job from the start to the end, was so kind to bring us something from all the treats they had on the menu.
We had the tiramisu, fresh fruits, a hot chocolate cake as well as vanilla and caramel ice cream. A great finish of a great lunch. Considering that the prices at the Aragosta Bar and Bistro are absolutely okay for lunch, we’d definitely recommend you to make it out to the Battery Wharf to enjoy a very pleasant lunch and an outstanding value for the money!

Wow! That burger plate is outrageous! It’s lunch by itself!!
Absolutely. Sadly, I was not able to finish it. However, I decided to take the rest with me, so it would not be thrown away!
I would do the same!
Love the presentation of the food!!! To die for 🙂 x
Oh yes. It looks so lovely and tasty! However, eating makes even more fun than watching it 😉
