Casadelmar Porto Vecchio is one of only a few luxury resorts in Corsica. With just 14 rooms and 20 suites, Casadelmar Porto Vecchio is one of the smallest Leading Hotels of the World in the world. However, this doesn’t mean that guests aren’t being treated like kings at Casadelmar Porto Vecchio, which is renowned for its unique design.
Corsica never was a real luxury destination in the past. Other islands in the Mediterranean Sea were way more popular for luxurious holidays. Nevertheless, Corsica became more and more important in the last couple of years. One reason may be the luxurious Casadelmar Porto Vecchio, located in the South of the island.
With just 34 rooms and suites, Casadelmar is one of the smallest luxury hotels in Europe. However, guests can benefit from the size of the hotel as it offers an incredible privacy while still offering all facilities you may look for including more than just one restaurant, two bars, a large swimming pool, a private beach and much more.
Casadelmar Porto Vecchio is not only a luxury hotel, it also is something like a design landmark of Corsica. Colorful elements are making Casadelmar Porto Vecchio very special.
Luxury hotels in which colors like red and purple are dominant are pretty rare. Each of the uniquely designed rooms at Casadelmar Porto Vecchio got views of the sea, lush gardens and a terrace.
While the smallest room category comes with 35 square meters (377 square feet) and a 15 square meters (161 square feet) terrace, the largest, a private villa, compromises several bedrooms, a large private pool and a terrace that’s close as big as the room villa itself.
All rooms feature amenities like marble bathrooms, flat screen televisions and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.
Only 34 rooms and suites, but two restaurants nevertheless. That’s one of the facts which make Casadelmar Porto Vecchio a very special luxury hotel.
Both with great views of the sea, “Restaurant Le Casadelmar” and the “Grill Restaurant” offer high-quality food with fresh tastes.
The chef of Restaurant La Casadelmar, Fabio Bragagnolo, was awarded two Michelin Stars and is renowned for being one of the best chefs on whole Corsica. He is also responsible for what you get on your table in the casual Grill Restaurant.
Other facilities of the restaurant include the Lounge Bar with its homely atmosphere and the Pool Bar which is only opened in July and August.
Casadelmar Porto Vecchio perfectly combines all the features of a luxury hotel. Large rooms with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, amazing cuisine and great leisure facilities.
These include a large lap pool which is surrounded by dozens of comfortable loungers that invite guests for sunbathing. Even working out can be a pleasure at Casaldelmar Porto Vecchio as the gym also offers great views of the sea.
Last but not least, the most amazing recreation experience is guaranteed at the Spa which is managed by the renowned brand ESPA.
Massages and other treatments are available for hotel guests seven days a week from 9 am to 8 pm. Not to forget about the little private beach!
Due to the focus on outdoor facilities, Casadelmar Porto Vecchio is closed in winter. It’s closing its door in November to open again in April. Spring and fall are the off season at Casadelmar Porto Vecchio which means that the rates are considerably lower at these times of the year.
Rates in low season start at 410 Euro (~ 450 US-Dollar) per night including services, tax and breakfast. In July and August, there is a minimum stay of six nights with rates of around 1.000 Euro (~ 1.100 US-Dollar) a night.
When you think about staying at Casadelmar Porto Vecchio, look out for special offers, for example the Spa Inclusive Offer available in off season for 350 Euro (~ 385 US-Dollar) per night including breakfast and a Spa treatment of your choice with a minimum stay of two nights.
