Hotel Preview: The Gainsborough Bath

The Gainsborough Bath Pool

The Gainsborough Bath is opening on July 1st, but the media are going crazy about the new hotel 90 minutes away by car from London. Located in beautiful Bath, The Gainsborough offers modern rooms and a large Spa area for pure relaxation. As a member of The Leading Hotels of The World, The Gainsborough will definitely set new standards in West England!

The Gainsborough Bath is the only hotel in Great Britain that offers its guests natural thermal water. Due to its amazing location in the heart of Bath, The Gainsborough is not only blessed with amazing water quality, but also with the perfect setting for everyone who loves shopping, dining or just going out.

With just 99 rooms, The Gainsborough Bath is one of the smaller hotels in Great Britain. However, it still offers one of the most amazing Spa areas in the whole country with three therapeutic pools, several treatment rooms and much more.

Luxurious rooms at The Gainsborough Bath

The location in the heart of the city of Bath makes room at The Gainsborough Bath very limited. It is no surprise that the rooms are, while being utterly luxurious, quite small compared to other luxury hotels.

A Deluxe Room, the lowest room category, offers only 25 square meters (~ 269 square feet) to stretch out. Even though the other room categories are not much more spacious, the included amenities make staying at The Gainsborough Bath really pleasurable.

  1. The luxury hotel market is definitely picking up in Bath. We stayed a few months ago in a luxury apartment in the city as there was a total lack of room availability in the nicer hotels. May need to visit Bath again in the future! xx

    • And that’s great. I see a lot of potential in Bath. It’s a very interesting destination and neither far from the city center of London nor from Heathrow!
