La Badira Hammamet is one of the newest luxury hotels in the well-known tourist destination in Tunisia. Recently named a Leading Hotel of the World, La Badira Hammamet stands out for its incredible service and stylish design. Located on a peninsula with stunning views of the sea, La Badira Hammamet is a category above all other hotels in the area.
Modernity and tradition – both played a role when La Badira Hammamet was shaped. The design is inspired by the minimalist work of designers which developed Hammamet in the early 20th century.
So are the colors black and white that are the key element of each room and all public areas. This historic and yet modern design makes all areas of the hotel look modern. The building itself is inspired by the traditional Arabic architecture.
This design scheme is also visible in all rooms and suites of La Badira Hammamet.
With just 130 rooms in total, La Badira Hammamet is one of the smaller hotels in the area, but offers a very private and seduced feeling for everyone wishing to make one-of-a-kind holidays.
All room categories offer sea view as well as outdoor areas to enjoy the sun. With a size of at least 45 square meters (~ 484 square feet), guests will never feel cramped.
Each room got a marble bathroom with two sinks, a rain shower and a deep soaking tub. Due to the floor-to-ceiling windows, all rooms and suites feel airy and bright all day long.
This combined with outstanding design makes the rooms at La Badira Hammamet a real gem.
Days at La Badira Hammamet start relaxing with breakfast till 11 am. Guests may enjoy sitting either in the indoor area close to the buffet or on the large terrace overlooking the sea.
If you are still getting hungry for lunch, you may enjoy “Kamilah”, the hotel’s à la carte restaurant.
At Kamilah, guests can enjoy Mediterranean dishes in a relaxed atmosphere right between two infinity pools. The live cooking station at Kamilah is another highlight worth mentioning.
More formal dining is possible at “Adra”, the main restaurant of La Badira Hammamet.
Breathtaking sea views in a traditional inspired atmosphere combined with fresh and tasty Tunisian cuisine may be the perfect duo for a perfect evening.
Hammamet is known for its beaches, but at La Badira Hammamet, it seems like the beach is only a side note that’s not of further importance.
With several pools and an ultra large infinity pool located right on the sea front, the water experience meters away from the rooms and suites of La Badira Hammamet is amazing itself.
This combined with several other activities like golf, massages or horseback riding make every minute at La Badira Hammamet an enjoyable one.
If you wish to unwind at the beach nevertheless, La Badira Hammamet offers direct access to a seduced and nearly private beach just steps away from the large infinity pool.
Not to forget about the large Hammam that invites to relax after a refreshing dip into the pool.
Tunisia is rarely known as an expensive holiday destination. Luckily, La Badira Hammamet is no exception.
Even though looking stunning in all regards, prices for La Badira Hammamet start at just 150 Euro (~ 170 US-Dollar) a night including breakfast, taxes and service.
This rate, however, is only bookable in low season which starts in October. Rates in June, July, August and September are a little higher, but still quite fair.
At the moment, rooms at La Badira Hammamet are only bookable till October 31st as the hotel closes for a winter break. So if you like to enjoy the amazing facilities of La Badira Hammemt in 2015, you should hurry!
