Hotel URSO Madrid is anything but a normal hotel. Located in one of the most interesting capitals of an European country, Hotel URSO Madrid is luxurious and intimate at the same time. As the first boutique hotel of its kind in Madrid, Hotel URSO wants to set new standards. Special features include a pop-up restaurant which houses different chefs each moment. A real one-of-a-kind experience!
Hotel URSO Madrid is the perfect example for a very special hotel. Located right in the center of Madrid and yet away from the overly touristic spots, Hotel URSO Madrid offers an intimate atmosphere with traditional charm. Even though the hotel recently opened, the neo-classical elegance can be admired everywhere in the hotel.
Inspired by the early 20th century, the designers in charge adapted classic style to the old residential buildings that looks gorgeous itself. Hotel URSO Madrid wouldn’t be so special if it didn’t offer more than great style. One of the most interesting pools in the world and a pop-up restaurant are just two of many more features to mention.
Design features can be admired pretty much everywhere at Hotel URSO Madrid. Each room is beautifully appointed to make guests not only feel welcome, but home.
Moreover, each room got a marble bathroom with a detached shower and a tub. Complimentary amenities include bathrobes and slippers, daily turn-down service, a Nespresso coffee machine and Wi-Fi.
The size of the rooms at Hotel URSO Madrid is quite small compared to other five star hotels in Madrid. The smallest room category, called Urso Double, comes with 22 square meters (237 square feet).
If you want more space and a special experience, you may either opt for the Terrace Junior Suite or the Terrace Suite. Rooms in these categories offer amazing views of the neighborhood.
Since its opening, Hotel URSO Madrid always had different restaurants. The concept of a pop-up restaurant with changing chefs each month is something absolutely unique in Madrid. Not any surprisingly, the idea was a full success.
Sadly, the culmination of the project is already about an end as the last chef is leaving the hotel on the 27th of June. However, Hotel URSO Madrid will definitely come up with a new idea. Be it a new series of “The Table by” or something completely new.
Moreover, one should not forget about the other facilities of Hotel URSO Madrid. At “The Conservatory”, breakfast is served in a very special atmosphere and the “URSO Bar” may be one of the most unique ones in whole Madrid.
Last but not least, guests who already stayed at Hotel URSO Madrid enthuse about the amazing neighborhood with its many restaurants and bars.
The Spa area of Hotel URSO Madrid may be the smallest one a luxury hotel in Madrid. But that does not have to be bad as it looks extremely cozy with its several loungers and the elevated pool which may not be great for laps, but absolutely sufficient for some relaxed swimming.
Other features include a hamam, three treatment rooms and a well-equipped gym. The Spa of Hotel URSO Madrid is one of these areas that totally lives up to the boutique character of the place.
Hotel URSO Madrid is not really a cheap option for staying in Madrid. The city not known for its high hotel prices has several hotels that are in the 100 Euro range. At Hotel URSO Madrid, the lowest rate starts at 150 Euro (~ 170 US-Dollar) in off season.
This rate already includes taxes and services, but excludes breakfast. Rates including continental breakfast for two people are available starting at 180 Euro (~ 200 Euro), while full buffet breakfast is available starting at 195 Euro (~ 225 US-Dollar).
If you are thinking about an even more special experience, you may opt for a Terrace Junior Suite which is available starting at 400 Euro (~ 450 US-Dollar) per night. Hotel URSO Madrid is indeed anything but cheap, but looking at the very special concept, the money seems to be invested well!
