Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera is one of several Accorhotels in the biggest city in South America. The property is located close to the popular Ibirapuera Park, which is a real paradise for joggers and those who like nature. The hotel itself is absolutely fine, but nothing to really write home about. Learn more about the property in our extensive review.
After staying at Hotel Tivoli Sao Paulo Mofarrej, I decided to also check out Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera.
As there was a sale by Accorhotels, the room rate was well below 100 Euro, which made staying at Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera hack of a deal, especially as breakfast was included. After taking an Uber to get the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionists in a stylish lobby.
We were assigned an upgraded room on a higher floor and also offered two vouchers for a welcome drink of our choice in the bar or the restaurant of the property.
Upon entering the Deluxe Room, you’ll find a small hallway and the bathroom to the left.
The room itself is definitely on the small side and comes with a Queen Bed, two bedside tables, an armchair by the window, a working desk with a chair (sadly, not ergonomic at all) and a TV board with a flat-screen television. In this board, you can also find the reasonably well stocked minibar.
The design of the Deluxe Room at Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera was modern and looked quite nice. Also worth mentioning is the stunning view of the park and the city, which definitely is the highlight of the Deluxe Room at Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera.
What I also found in the room was a sweet little welcome present, which was tasty.
The Deluxe Rooms at Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera come with relatively small bathrooms.
The shower comes with frosted glass bricks and though came with some daylight. Besides, the bathroom was relatively bland and came with a small sink and a toilet.
Definitely nothing to write home about. At least the C.O. Bigelow toiletries were quite decent.
While making use of our welcome drink vouchers, we decided to also have dinner in the combined restaurant and bar of Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera.
The server was very friendly and not only recommend us taking the salmon, but also some local fish. We went for both dishes and were amazed by the taste.
While the accompanies were rather sparse, the piece of fish was quite big on both plates. We were also offered a choice of bread including the famous Brazilian cheese bread.
Summed up, the dinner experience at Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera was quite nice!
The next morning, we went for breakfast at the buffet. The whole selection looked quite good at first sight. Also, the buffet at Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera is relatively extensive.
You can find a choice of fresh fruits, a decent selection of rolls, bread and pastries, several sweet options and a table with different hot options, some local, some American.
You might also enjoy one of the many freshly squeezed juices offered on the buffet. What you can also make use of is the option to order made by order eggs.
I went for an omelet and found it quite okay.
Guests of Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera can make use of a pool and a gym. The pool is a little disappointing as it is very small and not really suitable for laps.
Also, I found the water somewhat warm. Furthermore, there are no loungers by the pool, so if you are looking for sunbathing, you are at the wrong spot. The gym of Pullman Sao Paulo is way more appealing in my opinion.
Not only are water and bananas offered free of charge, the gym is also quite spacious and comes with lots of daylight. The equipment is reasonably modern and there are plenty of different machines and free weights available.
Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera is a typical business hotel. The property does not really shine in any regard, but also doesn’t disappoint. You can expect small, but modern and comfortable rooms, a good breakfast buffet, the option to have a decent dinner in a casual atmosphere and a very well equipped gym. That said, I’d definitely return to the Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera if the price is below 100 Euro per night!
