Belfast: Hilton

For a city trip to Belfast, we’ve decided to check out Hilton Belfast. The property is located quite well next to the Waterfront, but doesn’t really stand out for anything. The rooms are okay, the lounge is sub-par, the breakfast is average at best. That’s basically how I’d sum up this stay.

    • Belfast is great indeed, had a lovely time there! I’ll definitely give the Fitzwilliam a try the next time I’m in the city πŸ™‚

      • Did you check out the Titanic museum and surrounding area? I absolutely recommend it. We walked there from our hotel and it was a great way to explore the city!

      • We were a little short of time and thus skipped it. Thus we went to the area and snapped a couple of nice pictures. We also went to the cinema in the Titanic quarter, quite a nice area πŸ™‚

      • A cinema would have been fun to visit! The indoor market in that area was also very cool. Definitely recommend the Titanic museum if you make a return trip.

  1. I stayed there too. Did you try their restaurant for dinner? Was exquisite! Some of the best meals I have ever eaten! I agree with you on the breakfast though.

    • Thank you for your comment! Sadly, we arrived too late on the first evening and went to the cinema on the second evening. Yet, neither the breakfast nor the lounge were any great when it comes to the food. I’ll definitely give the restaurant a try next time πŸ™‚

      • I agree. The breakfast was just soso. The lounge/ pub on the other side had decent food, but the restaurant for dinner (same as breakfast) blew me away.
The menu was not very big and the dishes took a long time to be served but once you got them, you understood why. They have some amazing chefs in there for dinner!
I can honestly say this was the best food we had anywhere in Northern Ireland or Ireland.
It was exquisite in taste and presentation. 5 star meal, hands down. In case you go back, give it a try. You will be surprised.
