Hotel Review: Conrad Dubai

Conrad Dubai is one of the flagship properties of the Hilton chain in Dubai. The property is located in a business area of Dubai and thus mainly caters for the needs of business guests. Nevertheless, I’d say that Conrad Dubai is also a good choice for tourists visiting Dubai!

Conrad Dubai is located on the city highway, which connects Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While there is not much in the immediate area around the Conrad, there is a metro stop right in front of the door.

  • Classification: Five Stars
  • Room Category: Executive Room
  • Month of Stay: April

That allows hustle-free transportation to pretty much all destinations in Dubai. You might also reach most destinations easily and quickly by taxi or Uber. Upon entering, you’ll find yourself in a truly impressive lobby with high ceilings and luxurious interior.

My check-in was prompt and very friendly. I was even upgraded to a suite as a HH Diamond member.

Executive Room at Conrad Dubai

Upgraded to a Suite and yet I”m writing about an Executive Room? That’s due to me turning down the upgrade as I found the suite to be way too big for just me.

Instead, I opted for an Executive Room on one of the higher floors with a stunning view of Dubai. The Executive Rooms come with a generous size of more than 40 square meters and a very nice furniture.

The design is not too plush and makes the room a nice place to hang out. There’s a very comfortable King Bed, a great working desk with a proper office chair and a nice seating corner with two armchairs.

You’ll also find a small makeup area next to the bed, which I found to be quite a nice feature. As you’d expect at a Conrad property, all rooms at Conrad Dubai come with a Nespresso coffee machine.

Bathroom of the Executive Room

The bathroom of the Executive Room at Conrad Dubai is quite spacious and totally fits into the luxury scheme of the property. There’s a window between the room and the bathroom, which allows daylight to enter the bathroom.

However, you can easily lower a blind to enhance the privacy in the bathroom. In this one you’ll find everything you expect of a good bathroom. There’s a seperated area with a toilet and a bidet (yet, it’s not seperated by a door), a large walk-in shower with a great shower pressure and a large circular bathtub.

In addition, there are two sinks with lots of storage space and tons of amenities. The toiletries at Conrad Dubai are provided by Aromatherapy as it is the norm for Conrad properties.

Executive Lounge at Conrad Dubai

Conrad Dubai offers an Exeutive Lounge on one of the highest floors. Access is granted to all guests booked in Executive Room or Suites as well as those holding a HH Diamond or Gold (if upgraded to the executive level) status.

The lounge is spacious, bright, has great views and very charming furniture. The only thing I’d like to see is more seating for comfortable working.

Breakfast at the Executive Lounge

Checking in early and checkout late for my one night stay, I had the chance to give all offerings a try.

That said, I was truly impressed. The breakfast is top-notch with great service by the table, a nice buffet, brillant cappuccinos, freshly squeezed juices and egg dishes by order.

The offerings in the afternoon are of the highest quality and rich enough. In the evening, there’s a large cold buffet with additional hot items changing daily. You may also order any alcoholic drinks of your choice free of charge.

If you are having lounge access at Conrad Dubai, you’ll hardly need a real dinner anymore.

Breakfast at Conrad Dubai

On the second morning, I decided to give breakfast at the main restaurant a try. As it is located on one of the lower levels, there’s no real view. Thus, the restaurant is rather dark and didn’t really amaze me in terms of the decor.

Conrad Dubai Breakfast

The choice for breakfast is truly stunning

Yet, the outdoor seating is quite nice. The breakfast buffet at Conrad Dubai is extremly extensive and comes with endless cold and hot options. I’ll mainly let the pictures speak for themselves.

It’s worth noting that all items were of highest quality and available throughout the whole breakfast time. In additon, you may order freshly prepared egg dishes. However, the service in the breakfast restaurant was a little lackluster.

Pool & Gym at Conrad Dubai

Staying at Conrad Dubai, you are having access to the pool area and the gym. The latter is quite spacious and comes with dozens of machines of all kinds.

The gym is spacious and well equipped

Sure enough, there are also free weights and machines for strength training. The gym is also very well taken care of and very bright. Thus, nothing short of amazing.

The pool area is quite stunning as well. Taking into account that Conrad Dubai is more of a business hotel, you’ll be truly fascinated by the offerings. There’s an extensive artificial area with greenery, loungers, a bar and an extensive and very nicely pool.

Everything looks like you are staying at a resort. In addition, several staff is roaming around to make sure you are comfortable and got everything you need.

Overall impression of Conrad Dubai

Honestly, I had a stunning time at Conrad Dubai. From the great upgrade to the amazing service to the stunning Executive Lounge. There’s hardly anything negative I got to say about the property.

While I wasn’t a fan of the breakfast and also found the location to be somewhat average, I’d still highly recommend Conrad Dubai. Even for a leisure stay, the property really delivers. Thus, you should definitely give the Conrad a try next time you are in Dubai!
