The Hilton Tallinn Park is one of the newest Hilton properties in Europe. The hotel offers a very high comfort with modern rooms, a lovely Spa, an Executive Lounge and much more.
In this review, I’ll explain what you can expect of staying at the Hilton Tallinn Park!
When visiting Tallinn in Estonia, I definitely needed to see the newest Hilton in Europe by myself. The property just opened a couple of months ago and is situated in a completely new building.
Yet, things got even better for my stay as I was assigned an upgrade to a One Bedroom Suite due to my Hilton Honors Diamond Status. That’s a start after my liking!
The One Bedroom Suite at the Hilton Tallinn Park made a very good first impression on me. The entrance area has some space to put your luggage and a wardrobe. Following this area, you’re finding yourself in the living room, which comes with a comfortable couching facing a flat-screen television and a large working desk with a turning chair in the corner.
Everything is modern and well designed and makes a nice atmosphere. The floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city do not hurt either. Plus, there’s even a Nespresso coffee machine!
The bedroom is separated from the living room with a door and basically comes with just a comfortable King Bed facing another television. While small, I liked the atmosphere of the bedroom as well as the city views.
Between the bedroom and the bathroom, you can find a small dressing room with some more wardrobes and a funny stool.
The bathroom is very much fitting the modern style of the suite. There’s a double-sink with lots of storage space, a large bathtub as well as two separated areas, one for the toilet and one for the walk-in shower, which comes with two shower heads and a good water pressure.
Toiletries are provided by Peter Thomas Roth as it is the norm for Hilton properties.
All in all, the room at the Hilton Tallinn Park was very nice. The modern decor is very well combined with atmospheric elements, making the rooms a nice place to relax after a long day.
As other Hilton properties in Europe like the Hilton Dresden, the Tallinn property comes with an Executive Lounge. The lounge is located on the top floor and comes with very modern interior.
There are several different areas, which are separated by different elements. Nevertheless, the lounge gets crowded in the evenings and is very loud, too.
The spread in the lounge is alright, yet nothing to get excited about. During the day, there just small snacks. In the evening, the buffet is more substantial with a couple of salads, two hot options, cold cuts, wine, beer and spirits. The quality of the food was okay, but again nothing to write home about.
In the morning, breakfast is served in the lounge and in the restaurant. The lounge has a limited spread with the typical continental options as well as scrambled eggs, bacon and another hot option. I’d still recommend going down to the restaurant though.
All in all, the lounge at the Hilton Tallinn Park is quite nice due to its modern and stylish design. The food options aren’t top-notch though. Other properties like the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti are superior in this regard.
As I’ve mentioned, breakfast is served in the restaurant, too. As a Gold or Diamond member, you can choose where to enjoy the first meal of the day. I’d recommend the restaurant at the Hilton Tallinn Park as the offerings here are more substantial. The buffet has several cold cuts, cheeses, several hot options in the sweet and savory area and a very nice selection of breads, rolls and pastries.
My personal highlight is the varied choice of local dishes, mainly fish and meat. You may also order a freshly prepared omelette. The staff roaming around is friendly and helpful. All in all, a good breakfast.
Another area I liked very much about the Hilton Tallinn Park is the Spa. Here, you can find a large swimming pool, which is great for swimming laps, a jacuzzi, several loungers as well as a sauna and a steam room.
There’s even an additional area further away from the pool, where you can relax without being disturbed by noise. Everything is modern, in a very good condition and still feels cozy.
For me, the Tallinn Park is definitely worth a recommendation. The luxury hotel comes with a decent location, very modern and nicely designed rooms, a good view, a beautiful Spa area and a very nice Executive Lounge. The downsides are to be found in the mediocre food offerings in the lounge and the somewhat crowded breakfast. Nevertheless, my overall impressions were very good, which is why I’d definitely recommend staying here!
