Back in Europe, but not back home again: Budapest is the last city on our trip. In the capital of Hungary, we decided to stay the night at Hilton Budapest City and got a pretty nice Executive Room with lounge access!
Our last hour in the United States of America! Before departure, we spend some time in the AA Admirals Club at the JFK Airport in New York. Unfortunately, the lounge is very well-visited, which makes it nearly impossible to take a photo of the seating areas. But, and that’s the good thing, the view is absolutely photo-worthy and the technical equipment is new!
The Knickerbocker in NYC was amazing, now we cannot wait to see what The Greenwich Hotel has to offer – competition does not rest! Even though the rooms are quite different from the freshly renovated ones at the Knickerbocker, but the classic style definitely has charm!
Leaving Boston, but arriving in New York City with the Amtrak was on our program today. We have the pleasure to spend our first night in New York at The Knickerbocker – a hotel we already previewed and which has just opened a few weeks ago. Due to its renovation, the rooms are very modern. Moreover, the welcome treatment was one of the best we ever got!
Pretty late in the afternoon, we left the Battery Wharf Hotel and checked-in at the Hilton Back Bay in Boston. Our corner room has an interesting cutting as the hotel building is like a triangle. Have a look yourself!

The Amilla Fushi is one of the newest luxury… Read More

New day, new city, new hotel! We arrived at the Battery Wharf Hotel in Boston, where we were upgraded to an amazing Junior Suite. The bed is just epic and the view lovely, as we can see the river and watch planes in the air – the airport is not far away though. Nevertheless, it’s not any loud. Thumbs up so far!
Bye bye Chicago! Before our departure to Boston, we decided to have a look at at the American Airlines Admirals Club at the O’Hare Airport. It is very big, the internet works perfectly (finally!) and there are even some snacks free.
We’re still in Chicago, but we’re not at The Langham any more. For our second night in Chicago, we checked-in at the Ivy Boutique Hotel located close to the Magnificent Mile! Especially the living room is gorgeous. The room is like three different areas right behind each other beginning with the bathroom, followed by the bed and a separated living area. Have a look!
