When you are thinking about skiing in Europe, you’ll most likely think about the Alps or the countries Switzerland and Austria. But there is more: Even in the little country of Andorra, a luxury hotel is trying to attract skiing guests. The recently renovated Sport Hotel Hermitage greets its guests with a package full of luxury, recreation and action. As one of the smallest countries in Europe and even in the world,… Read More

Even though this may not be a world-famous tourist attraction, it is the world’s largest walk-in bird park: The bird park in Kuala Lumpur (yeah I know, we experienced pretty much in the capital of Malaysia! – Feel free to have a look at our city review). If you’re interested in seeing some pretty rare and exotic birds, a bird park always is a good choice. If it’s on top one of the biggest of… Read More

Saalbach-Hinterglemm in Austria does rarely look like a village that hosts a five star hotel. Yet, the Alpine Palace Hinterglemm decided to try the luxury path and made the hotel a real top-notch hotel. The building itself is new, the rooms are furnished in a modern and classic style at the same time and the flair is pretty “rustic”. If you like that, you’ll love the Alpine Palace, if not, you’ll have some problems…. Read More

Check out our rating for the Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol!… Read More

Gouda, Emmentaler, Mozzarella, … sounds like music in your ears? If you can answer this with a huge “yes”, the cheese museum in Amsterdam with a shop may be like paradise for you! When we visited Amsterdam and didn’t want to wait a very long time in a queue before being able to enter the Anne Frank Huis and had already seen many wax figures, we went for something smaller, not that… Read More

The world has a lot to offer, but only few cities are as interesting as Cartagena. This city is not known to be one of the safest in the world, yet it was named a cultural heritage by UNESCO. In the centre of the old town, guests who are searching for luxury when discovering Colombia, can find the Casa San Augustin, a little boutique hotel. The hotel has 20 rooms and ten… Read More

When I tell you we flew with KLM, you probably know where we stopped first: Schiphol, Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Which is kind of tough at about 8 am after a night with only two hours of sleep (flight in the morning, transfer way, time to spend on the airport before departure). Anyways, our day in Amsterdam was pretty interesting! Find more content about Amsterdam on our city page! Second stop, logically though:… Read More
