Luna Hotel Baglioni Venice Junior Suite

Luna Hotel Baglioni Venice is one of several five star hotels in the city. As the prices for the property tend to be quite high due to the amazing location right next to Piazza San Marco, I expected a lot. Surprisingly, I was not disappointed even though I’m not a huge fan of Italian hotels. The service throughout our stay was amazing and the food we enjoyed could have hardly been any… Read More

Gondolas Venice

Transportation in Venice is different to public transportation in most other cities. That’s due to the special location of Venice, which makes it impossible to get around in the city by anything other than boat. There are two different companies operating public boat services in Venice. Moreover, you can get around by either water taxi or with gondolas. Find more content about Venice on our city page! Alitalia Tintoretto Lounge Venice Buffet

Alitalia Tintoretto Lounge Venice was our starting point for an interesting journey, which took us from Venice to Bangkok via Rome and Abu Dhabi. While the lounge is typical for a regional airport, we actually liked the modern design and the decent buffet. Even though I’m not a fan of what most SkyTeam carriers offer in terms of lounges, Alitalia really steps up in this regard! Find more content about Venice on… Read More

Venice definitely is special and here’s our city review! Find more content about Venice on our city page! Honestly, I don’t quite know where to start when it… Read More

Running in Venice

Running in Venice may sound a little weird as Venice is more or less consisting of small islands. Nevertheless, there are actually some amazing running paths in Venice. While I can just recommend to definitely give running in Venice a try, I have to warn you at the same time: don’t leave “home” without GPS as you’ll have problems finding your way back! When waiting for our flight, we appreciate it to spend some time in a lounge. Now, we happen to be in the Alitalia Lounge Tintoretto at Venice Airport. Small, yet modern and decent, but I have some trouble writing this post, so the Internet is no plus right now… Sorry, no pictures at the moment.

Canal in Venice

Venice is a city without cars or actual streets. In Venice, you get from A to B via boat and the streets are canals. There are some bridges as well, but strolling through the very small alleys really is something unique! All about our experiences and thus recommendations will be published in a few weeks when we have explored a little more.
